When considering options for management of wounds in the head and neck, surgeons have traditionally relied on a reconstructive ladder, which proceeds from least complex to most complex. In this lecture, we are going to cover the basic science of reconstructing ladder and flaps.

Objectives

By the end of this course you will be able to:

1-Identify the preoperative planning.
2-Define the reconstructive ladder.
3-Discuss the Local Flaps.
4-Discuss the Regional Flaps.
5-Discuss the Free Flaps.
6-Recognize the intraoperative management.
7-Identify the post operative management.

Main theme

It is an interactive online session for two hours. one and a half hour will cover the theoretical part and in the last half hour, the instructor will share with you different cases in the same concept.
