Overview

This lecture was a part of 2nd virtual pediatric international conference, which held on 15th November 2021 and extended for three days. This virtual conference focused on evidence-based practical approaches to a variety of acute, urgent/emergency, and primary care conditions that you deal with in your day-to-day practice.

What I will learn?

  • By the end of the session attendee will be able to :
    Clarify the causes of meningitis
    Describe how to evaluate meningitis and CSF analysis
    Recognize the management of acute bacterial meningitis with a special focus on H. Influenza, N. Meningitides, and strep pneumonia.
