Overview
During pregnancy, every mother-to-be undergoes radical psychological and physiological changes whose may trigger various skin manifestations, even during the very first weeks of gestation. The purpose of this session is to help dermatology resident, GP, and medical intern develop a clinical approach to the evaluation and initial management of patients presenting with specific dermatoses of pregnancy.What I will learn?
- By the end of this session, candidates should be able to:
- Take a history and recognize vital physical signs
- Make a differential diagnosis and Identify potential causes
- Demonstrate investigations for diagnosis in a systematic manner
- Discuss the management plan
