In this lecture, we will be talking about basics of seizures in children. This would include it definition, different types and classification, and how to approach them.What I will learn?

- Define seizure, explain its pathogenesis and list its risk factors, types, and investigations.
- Describe the approach to seizing child and outline the management of seizure.
- Outline the management of status epilepticus including follow up.
