Overview

This lecture was a part of 2nd virtual pediatric international conference, which held on 15th November 2021 and extended for three days. This virtual conference focused on evidence-based practical approaches to a variety of acute, urgent/emergency, and primary care conditions that you deal with in your day-to-day practice.

    Formulate appropriate differential diagnosis of upper and lower gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding in children
    Distinguish causes of GI bleeding that need urgent management
    List the important steps in the initial management of GI bleeding
    Recognize the medical, endoscopic, and surgical tools available to stop GI bleeding
