History Taking Skills

Overview

Taking a detailed clinical history from a patient is a skill necessary for examinations and as amedical student, no matter which area you specialize in.
This lecture aims to develop and update students' knowledge and skills of history taking.
It will enable participants to understand what is required when taking a comprehensive history from a patient.
The lecture will appeal to medical students and Interns.

  - Outline what is required when taking a comprehensive history from a patient
  - Enhance their communication skills and questioning technique
  - Develop their confidence in taking a detailed clinical history
