In this lecture we will discuss the symptoms and signs and laboratories that can help in diagnosing patients with Kawasaki disease especially if the patient did not fulfill the criteria, then we will discuss some complications associated with Kawasaki disease that include macrophage activation syndrome and toxic shock syndrome which both can be confused with Multi-system inflammatory syndrome in children that followed COVID 19 infection, and the differences between them and their management.What I will learn?

Identify the sign and symptoms of Kawasaki disease
Clarify the investigations and update treatment recommendations and follow-up of patients with Kawasaki disease.
Illustrate and Discuss Kawasaki disease shock syndrome as a mimicker of MIS-C and the differences between them.
