Lab Safety & Environmental Control Workshop

Overview

Infection prevention and control practices are important in maintaining a safe and healthy hospital environment for our patients, healthcare providers and visitors. This lecture was a part of infection control updates conference which conducted on September 2021 which provided a unique forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the Prevention & Infection Control. Also, it was highlight important information regarding COVID-19 Pandemic.

What I will learn?

• By the end of this lecture, the learners will be able to:
  1.Identify how to minimize the risk of injury or illness to laboratory workers
  2.Describe how to achieve and maintain a safe and healthy environment to the laboratory.
  3.Illustrate how to making sure EH&S (environment health & safety) audit & inspection program are implemented (review the finding & take the corrective action).
