In this course, Dr. Amer illustrates the key concepts of acid-base balance in a series of short videos. These short videos will teach you all you need to know about acid base balance from the basic physiology to the clinical manifestations. Objectives

By the end of the course, you will be able to:
1- Explain the basic physiology of acid-base.
2- Realize the importance and sources of H+.
3- Compare the defect, causes and correction of acid-base disturbances.
4- Illustrate the data interpretation of ABG.

Main theme

The course is comprised of 6 pre-recorded videos. Each video is about 20-25 mins long. The videos are distributed in the following format:

- 1 video = The basic physiology
- 3 videos = The basic pathology
- 2 videos = Clinical interpretation
