VMA offers a 2-day emergency medicine crash course designed to offer a broad exposure to emergency cases. The goal of the course is to support and guide Medical students, interns, paramedics, nurses & emergency physicians in acquiring the knowledge and clinical acumen required to provide outstanding management and care for patients. The course will be presented by a trusted medical professional and will cover topics such as;

1.How to approach any ED patient
2.How to approach Airway issues in the ED
3.How to approach overdosed patient the ED
4.How to approach common environmental emergencies
5-How to approach chest pain patient in the ED

To obtain CME credits (6 hours) you need to attend the course live.

Objectives

By the end of this course, candidates should be able to:
- Illustrate the general approach for all emergency cases
- Identify the presentation of certain types of clinical emergencies
- List the management key points for different types of clinical emergencies

Main theme

It is an interactive online session that provide workshop style interaction amongst the participants and the speaker. Participants are encouraged to drive the session discussion using either the chat or the mic.
