Overview

The process of drug discovery involves the identification of candidates, synthesis, characterization, screening, and assays for therapeutic efficacy. In this online session we are going to explain,in general, the whole process of the drug discovery. Then, we can make later on a series about this important topics and explain in details how to discover drugs.

What I will learn?

By the end of the session, candidates should be able to:

- Increase the awareness of the drug discovery process.
- Understand the role of different disciplines in drug discovery process.
- Understand the link between the clinical practice and the lab practice.
- Discuss the role of scientists in developing new medicines from the labs to clinical practice.
