By the end of the session, learners will be able to:
Recognize the clinical uses of lung ultrasound.
Choose the appropriate ultrasound system and probe for lung ultrasound imaging.
Identify lung and chest wall structures on the ultrasound image.
Identify the basic sonography and signs of lung ultrasound
Use M-mode imaging to identify the normal sea-shore sign and the other characteristic air artifacts suggesting normal aeration pattern and the diaphragmatic movement.
Identify abnormal lung signs such as pneumothorax, pleural effusion, atelectasis, consolidation and calculating the lung scores
