SmartCare Diabetes

المقدمة

Complex insulin regimens are widely used in the management of patients with diabetes however, they may be associated with increased risk of hypoglycemia, reduced adherence, and negative impact on patient quality of life.
Despite evolving guidelines emphasizing individualized care and appropriate deintensification, treatment simplification remains underutilized in clinical practice. This educational activity aims to address these gaps by enhancing healthcare professionals’ ability to assess insulin regimen appropriateness and to implement evidencebased simplification strategies when clinically indicated.
