Writing and assessing learning outcomes is a pre-requite skill for those involved in writing
and reviewing academic courses. Properly developed learning outcomes provide a roadmap
for course development, it guides the development of content, instructional strategies, and
assessment methods.

Objectives

By the end of the workshop the learners will be able to :
- Review basic principles related to writing & assessment of learning outcomes
- Describe a novel framework designed to effectively write & assess course learning
outcomes in accordance with the NQF
- Relate the framework to relevant ETEC forms & standards
- Discuss the framework using practical real-life examples
