The 5th Annual Meeting of the Saudi Toxicology Society (STS), titled “Frontiers in Toxicology: Apitherapy, Forensic Applications, and Omics Approaches”, is designed as a two-day scientific event bringing together researchers, health professionals, and policymakers to explore the latest advances in toxicology. The program includes plenary sessions, thematic lectures, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. Core themes include apitherapy and bee venom, forensic toxicology of camel-derived products and novel psychoactive substances (NPS), and cutting-edge approaches using toxicogenomics and omics tools. By combining international perspectives with regionally relevant issues, the meeting aims to strengthen scientific collaboration, enhance evidence-based practices, and address pressing toxicological challenges in Saudi Arabia.
1. To present state-of-the-art research in toxicology across clinical, forensic, and environmental contexts.
2. To critically analyze publications on evidence-based apitherapy and bee venom safety.
3. To highlight forensic toxicology challenges unique to Saudi Arabia, including camel-derived products and NPS.
4. To introduce omics tools for predicting and understanding toxicity.
5. To strengthen collaboration between Saudi and international experts, bridging research, clinical practice, and policy.
