This course provides a structured, competency-based curriculum designed to enhance the interpersonal and behavioral skills required for clinical excellence. Modules focus on understanding self and the human side of healthcare, high-impact communication, communication mastery, teamwork and interprofessional collaboration, professional conduct, and cultivating resilience and continuous improvement. Through scenario-based learning and real clinical cases, participants develop advanced communication, emotional intelligence, and teamwork capabilities. The curriculum supports improved patient safety, stronger clinical outcomes, enhanced staff morale, and measurable improvements in patient-centered care.
By the end of the course Learners will be able to :
1. Demonstrate three patient-centered communication techniques during scenarios to improve clarity and reduce misunderstandings.
2. Identify and respond to emotional cues in at least two clinical simulations using emotional intelligence strategies.
3. Apply two structured teamwork tools (e.g., SBAR, closed-loop communication) during role-play to improve coordination and reduce conflict.
4. Demonstrate key professional behaviors—respect, accountability, and psychological safety—using a standardized professionalism checklist.
5. Use two resilience or self-regulation techniques during stress-based exercises to improve emotional control and reduce burnout risk
6. Incorporate two teamwork or communication techniques into daily rounds or handovers.
